The women of Cherry Branch Elementary are back and contemplating the idea of beauty. Barbara and AJ's exes, Richard and Doro spark a short lived romance that makes the other couples question many of their life choices from letting their daughters participate in beauty pageants to the idea of breast implants.

Four soccer moms struggle to balance their busy schedules, family lives, and sanity: Meg, an overachieving people pleaser; Barbara, a recent divorcee; Rocky, a high-maintenance diva; and Connie, a curvaceous and big-hearted mother.

Life in the Catholic Church of the Holy Redeemer in Detroit is upset by a series of killings whose victims are all priests and nuns. All victims are found with a black rosary in their hands. Father Koesler begins collaborating with the police but soon finds himself in a spot when the killer decides to choose him as confessor.
