1989年からスタートした「夜会」は、中島みゆき本人が原作・脚本・作詞・作曲・演出・主演を務めるオリジナルの音楽舞台表現。現在までに全20作品が制作され、のべ46万人を動員してきた。本作には、1989年から2002年に開催された夜会より「わかれうた」「黄砂に吹かれて」「二隻の舟」などの厳選された19曲を収録。5.1chサラウンドの劇場用最新デジタルリマスター版でスクリーンにかけられる。

歌手の中島みゆきが、2012年10月25日から13年5月23日の大阪フェスティバルホールのこけら落とし公演まで、全国13会場で行ったコンサートツアー「縁会 2012～3」を映像化。ミリオンヒット曲「空と君のあいだに」をはじめ、「地上の星」「ヘッドライト・テールライト」「時代」といったおなじみの楽曲や、27年ぶりにコンサートで披露された「世情」など20曲を、劇場版ならではの5.1chサラウンドで届ける。

是一个以“复仇”为题目的故事。在美国檀香山的餐厅”Minakami(水上)”，持有者水上茧正在进行她复仇的计划。亲父山阶被川口杀害，亲母被川口以伪造的病历表送进结核疗养院。川口更夺取了山阶的旅馆。茧得山阶的好友大泽帮助进行复仇计划，当时川口只剩下一个月的寿命了。大泽是想帮茧夺回旅馆，可是茧心中想的却是另一个计划……

1990年中岛美雪推出第2部夜会，和89年的第一部类似，在《夜会1990》中, Miyuki也是以演唱方式+表演方式演出。杉本和世&坪倉唯子也会同时担任和唱和演出(演OL、黑夜人、杉本演猫女郎、坪倉演醉酒女子, etc.)。但是，与1989的夜会不同的是，本次的夜会有DVD光盘销售了，通过DVD我们可以观看整场夜会的演出。

Shohei works as a doctor in a seaside hospital. One day, a new patient is admitted to the hospital with ovarian cancer. Shohei is surprised to recognize Michiko, his first love from high school. Shohei has been leading a dissolute bachelor life, paying for the company of high school girls and dating an older woman who works in a local bar, but in reality, for the last twenty years, he has not forgotten Michiko. Unfortunately though, Michiko doesn't remember him at all. Shohei becomes more and more persistent in his attempts to get her to recall their past. At first she is annoyed by his overtures, but gradually warms to the doctor. Under Shohei's kind and patient care, Michiko's condition improves and her cancer becomes operable. The operation is a success, but now Shohei himself learns that he has terminal cancer.

日本を代表するシンガーソングライター・中島みゆきが2007年に全国17カ所で行い、10万人を動員した「中島みゆきコンサートツアー2007」が、映画「中島みゆき　歌旅　劇場版」として新たに生まれ変わることになった。

某日，菊村荣受人邀请造访了临海而建的“安宁之乡”。这是由前加纳影视制作集团总裁加纳应吉解散公司后，建立的一家面向对全盛期影视作品作出贡献的影视圈人的养老中心。菊村曾是名噪一时的编剧，如今受到应吉之女邀请来到安宁之乡，在那里，他看到了快被时光埋没的曾经风光无限的大腕演员们，而他的新生活也将在此展开。

The main characters are the Mamiya brothers who are living together although they are over 30-years-old. Unconcerned with appearance and reputations, they enjoy their life in their own way. The only concern is the lack of girlfriends. One day, however, a change occurs to their mundane lives. The elder brother, Akinobu (Kuranosuke Sasaki), falls in love with a girl at a video shop. The younger brother, Tetsunobu (Muga Tsukaji), scrambles around to aid his brother achieve love and arranges various dates. The elder brother strives to return the effort, but gets the cold shoulder. The two brothers return to their original lives, continuing with their ordinary, but happy days.
