Pulp Live at the Brixton Academy 21 December 1995

Pulp filmed and recorded live. "The Park Is Mine" is a live concert video by Pulp released by Vision Video in November 1998, following the release of their album This Is Hardcore. It was recorded at Finsbury Park, London on July 25th, 1998.

Pulp found fame on the world stage in the 1990s with anthems including ‘Common People’ and ‘Disco 2000’. 25 years (and 10 million album sales) later, they return to Sheffield for their last UK concert. In addition to performing, band members share their thoughts on fame, love, mortality — and car maintenance.

After the dust settled on the 90s Britpop phenomenon, one song stood head and shoulders above all others penned at the time... That song was Common People, and it was written by Sheffield anti-popstar Jarvis Cocker. The Story of Common People takes a forensic look at the seminal track, and attempts to shed light on its inspiration, its lyrics, and the man who wrote them.
