A psychoanalyst gives a strange advice to a mechanic whose marriage is falling apart: to take the blame for a murder, any murder, to impress his beautiful and indifferent wife, and his patient does just that.

A little house in the suburbs in the middle of nowhere. A car trapped in the snow. The great desperation of a couple who kill time in front of the television. And this strange impression of déjà-vu. But you better hold on because at any moment everything could change.

2022 film directed by Christophe Honoré

Paris, summer 2020. Actors from “la Comédie-Française”, France’s most prestigious theater, rehearse Christophe Honoré’s new play, an adaptation of Marcel Proust’s “The Guermantes Way”. When the show is suddenly canceled, the drama group decides to go ahead with it anyway, in the name of art and for the joy of acting together.
