Lucio, a prestigious university professor of literature, takes a course at a school in the area where he grew up, in the suburbs of Buenos Aires. There he will try to help his father to save Dilan, a student hounded by a group of drug traffickers.

Violeta asks Mono for "a little time" to decide what to do with her partner. Eva arrives in the city ready to do anything to change her life. Meanwhile is the story of "a time," of that time that passes while several stories intertwine in a dizzying puzzle that never quite fits together. A moving description of stories that are woven together by chance, an ensemble account of the uncertainty, despair, boredom, love, and heartbreak that weave urban relationships, a dramatic comedy about the bonds that make up life in the city.

Marcia is young woman who leads a gray and unremarkable life in the city of Buenos Aires. Mao and Lenin are a couple of punk girls who stumble upon Marcia and for some unexplicable reason they want to show her love.
