One day, Tim (Roy Ward) stops to speak with one of those men with no apparent income and no apparent place of residence who can be seen on the streets of Amsterdam and who are ready to speak of profundities and mock-profundities at the drop of a hat. This particular man tells him that "people don't die, they get killed." For some reason, this strikes the lonely television repairman as profound. He has been building a ham radio at home out of spare parts so that he will have someone to talk to. Shortly after talking to the street person, his circle of friends is diminished by one when his friend Alex is reported to have killed himself. This in itself is a bit of a mystery, and Tim attempts to make sense of it by talking to a lawyer, Alex's girlfriend, and others.

An impossible love story that begins outside a movie theater, continues in a café and could end with the two protagonists together… if real life wasn’t much more complicated than the movies. United by their love of cinema, these two main characters decide to live the lives they dreamed of and not the lives they are destined to live. In a series of encounters, imagination triumphs over reality and everyday reality takes a back seat.

Miguel steals a trick from a magic book and becomes a world-renowned magician. However, the idea of the public discovering that this great trick is plagiarized from a book eats at his mind more and more.

A woman reunites with her husband, who vanished on her years ago.

It's one of the best films I have ever seen. The story, the acting, the blue colors in the film... it was gripping. The end was one of the most heartbreaking scene's I have ever seen. I cried a river. Very beautiful and emotional... The story is about Fermin, a man that worked as a bus driver and was a member of a workers-union in Argentina. Supposedly he's been arrested for that fact during the Military Junta and was a Missing Person for several years. And then, one day he appears naked on the streets of Buenos Aires again. Fermin suffers from amnesia. He doesn't know what has happen to him for all those missing years. But he remembers his life before his disappearance. Fermin decides to go to see the woman he was supposed to marry, before he got arrested, but she does not recognize him. The story is not about his "missing years " but about what happens when people re-appear when everybody thinks they're dead.
