Jone is ready to fly. She finds herself at the beginning of something new, but before she moves on, there needs to be closure. Jone is one of Mollies, the queer-feminist collective that had been living for a decade at a trailer park next to Ostkreuz, Berlin. The film traces their last summer before being evicted.

In a serene meditation on image-making and the slippery nature of storytelling, Dane Komljen ominously mingles anonymous home video footage with images of contemporary Ukraine’s desolate landscapes.

There is a geography of miracles. Jonasz studies insects and fishes, Signe leaves and herbs. After a day spent in gardens and libraries, they meet, take the train and leave the city, pitching their tent on the shores of a lake. As they read, eat fruit, wander the forest and swim in the cold water, the outside world feels further and further away. A stranger appears and a trio is formed. But there are also other trios, other lakes, different places, different times.

In an abandoned bungalow complex two man have made themselves a peaceful haven. Although the relationship between them is unclear, the unexpected arrival of the third man is going to disrupt their little utopia.
