Grace Passô

Born in 1980, the Brazilian director, screenwriter and actor Grace Passô has already had a long career in the theatre where she has won many accolades. The first Black dramatist to be presented with a Shell Award, she has also won a number of international acting prizes. She has made the short film Republic, which won an award at the São Paulo International Short Film Festival, and the medium-length film Vaga Carne, which was selected for Forum Expanded in 2020.
