В России октябрь часто ассоциируется с золотой осенью. Так называют время, когда листья на деревьях становятся жёлтыми, оранжевыми и красными. В парках очень красиво, особенно в солнечные дни. Люди гуляют, фотографируют деревья и говорят, что это самое красивое время осени.

Но октябрь бывает разным. Иногда он тёплый и сухой, а иногда холодный, серый и дождливый. Утром может быть туман, вечером быстро темнеет, а дома хочется пить горячий чай.

Октябрь — это ещё и время, когда жизнь становится более спокойной после летних поездок и сентябрьской суеты. Люди больше сидят дома, смотрят фильмы, читают книги и готовят тёплую еду. Например, супы, каши, пироги и запечённые овощи.

Translation:

In Russia, October is often associated with golden autumn. This is what people call the time when the leaves on the trees become yellow, orange, and red. The parks are very beautiful, especially on sunny days. People walk, take pictures of the trees, and say that this is the most beautiful time of autumn.

But October can be different. Sometimes it is warm and dry, and sometimes it is cold, gray, and rainy. In the morning there may be fog, in the evening it gets dark quickly, and at home you want to drink hot tea.

October is also a time when life becomes calmer after summer trips and the busyness of September. People spend more time at home, watch movies, read books, and cook warm food. For example, soups, porridges, pies, and baked vegetables.
