I really really wanted to like this and feel kind of depressed about how disappointing it is. I've seen Kentucky Fried Movie, Groove Tube, and a few others in that vein and they're all fun. Ernie Fosselius is one of the writers, he's the guy who did the brilliant "Hardware Wars" parody and also worked on Spaceballs. Dan Ackroyd, Debbie Harry, Carrie Fisher, Bill Murray.. this cast is amazing but there's so, so little for them to work with.
