a review of 攻壳机动队

I wasn't really able to follow the story - for mostly but not entirely reasons unrelated to the movie. The main reason actually related to the film was I found the dub hard to watch without subtitles, but the subtitles were sometimes wildly different - not just in how they chose to communicate an idea but frequently in what ideas they were conveying. Next time I'll either watch the original dub or generate my own subtitles. Still - I'm way more interested in watching this film again than Bladerunner. What little I did get out of it was super compelling.
