Surprisingly good! Story came together a lot better than 4. I’ll always be a sucker for the shallow depth of field shots of the toys. I also really liked the crayon drawn shots - I hope pixar is willing to step into that kind of animation for a full length film because it would honestly rip. The themes of this movie are more so for the parents, which I do think is to the film’s detriment. Not because there is anything wrong with doing a movie for parents, but it means the film is like 5-10 years out of date with regards to its assessment on technology. It’s as lost and confused as to the specific nuances of how tech fucks with kids lives as my parents were.
