If the Director's Cut-version clocking in at 120 minutes felt rushed, this almost three and a half hours long "Ultimate Cabal Cut" kind of is the opposite. Finally, Barker's vision gets a fair enough treatment and even though it's cheesy at times it's also epic in scope. I finally appreciate the story and maybe - just maybe - this will be my gateway to actually reading the novel...
