I can’t speak to the quality of this film as an adaptation, but the thematic parallels to Oppenheimer make it immediately obvious why Nolan wanted to make this film. Film is non linear as hell and exceeded my expectations visa vi an old british guy telling a story about ancient Greece. He continues to have the sauce. Nobody else is making films quite this grand. Everyone else trying doesn’t have the artistry to back it up. Odysseus brutally bow mogs the suitors.    Nolan Ranked
