Horrible, even by Troma standards

This movie is all over the place. The titular Daphne only shows up briefly in the beginning and very end. The main story is about a young hitchhiker who gets a ride from idiot yahoos on vacation in the woods. She has consensual sex with one of them, and shortly afterward gets raped by another. The bulk of the movie is about the court case brought against the men and the legal wrangling involved. Then they go out to the woods and Daphne shows up again and kills the rapist. Bizarre. The opening scene is about how Daphne escaped from a mental hospital in which she was imprisoned for killing a man, but that "She's not believed to be dangerous." But she IS dangerous, at least to rapists. Plot twist! According to the movie Daphne is also supposed to be a black woman, but she's pretty clearly a white actress with some dirt on her face. This is like a rape revenge movie where the revenge part is outsourced to a wandering lunatic.
