this is mostly just fun (starts at Wondercon, asking random folks whether they know a Trimble from a tribble). The couple who started the original write in for Star Trek are the throughline here to cover a very wide array of letter campaigns by fans to get their shows back (somehow, no Firefly or Babylon 5 present). It does get a bit more serious at points and talks about queerbaiting and other ways that programs can treat the audience badly, and has a fun little bit about the various things that have been mailed to studios to show support for programs) but ultimately doesn't seem to have something to say about what makes an effort successful or not.
