Slow and dull

Deathstalker III: The Warriors from Hell - Review

The first two Deathstalker movies are far from cinematic masterpieces, but they're far more engaging than this slow, tepid offering. The main character is recast for the third time in three movies, and John Allen Nelson's performance is less "rakishly devil-may-care" and more "unbearably smug." The main villain is the opposite of imposing. The fights are basic, and there's not much in the way of magic and monsters. If you're going to watch this, do yourself a favor and go with the Mystery Science Theater 3000 version.
