Not as good as the first
Movie · Review
Basket Case 2 (1990)Duane and Belial have survived the end of the first movie and, after escaping from the hospital, are taken in by a doctor an her grand daughter, who run a hidden house for "Unique Individuals" (circus freaks, people with deformities, etc.). Life is comfortable for a while, until tabloid reporters begin snooping around (Duane and Belial are wanted by the police for all the murders from the first movie). Duane and the Unique Individuals decide to fight against the interlopers. This sequel has more strange humor and less gore than the original. The story also has a lot of parallels with Clive Barker's Nightbreed, which also released in 1990.
