Cozy traveling music

flies the coop - Review

A concept album about a hobbit leaving his home and venturing into the wider world, this fantasy synth release conjures a pastoral feel, complete with chirping birds and croaking frogs. The album has a slightly muffled, lofi sound that adds to the charm. Most of the songs evoke the feel of tromping along forest trails, but "Memories in Wildflower and the Setting Sun" is a beautiful interlude and "Have My Eyes Seen a Phantasm in the Shadow of Camp?" adds some spooky spice to the middle of the album.
