a review of 十一罗汉

Halfway good movie but the pacing feels slow now. It's got some fun cameos and heist/New Year's Eve antics. It's not a musical but there are a few standout numbers on the way. (look up "Eee-O Eleven" for one) but it feels so dated, bathing in misogyny and cigarette smoke. if you want to know how dated the original Ocean's Eleven is, there's a scene with Frank, Dean, some guy & Sammy Davis Jr in the cab of a truck and they're putting black makeup on their faces. One says "hey, how do you get this stuff off?" to SDJ and he almost answers before just glaring at them
