The Greasy Strangler - Review
A father and son who run a lie-filled disco history-themed walking tour have their unhealthy family dynamic thrown off even further when they both fall in love with the same woman. Complicating matters even further is the fact that the father is the so-called Greasy Strangler, a murderer who prowls the streets clad only in a thick coating of lard.
This movie is extremely weird and dumb, but in a strangely compelling way. Weird scenes are extended so long that they go from funny to tedious to funny again. The stilted dialogue is bizarre and extremely quotable. The ending is bizarre. If you enjoy weird cult movies, this movie delivers the goods.
