Suzi Quatro - Review
I can see why Suzi Cuatro was frequently utilized by Happy Days as an actor and performer, because you can hear a lot of influence from rockabilly and old school boogie blues in her music, more even than was already present by a lot of "glam rock" bands at that time like T.Rex. Halfway between being retro and predating the later punk rock movement, it is a really solid little rock album that was a pleasure listen to, makes one want to get dancing. I can't believe this album barely made a splash in the US but I'm glad internationally it was recognized as a classic of glam-style rock of the early 70s and spawned hits in Europe and beyond.
