Lost momentum

Season 5 was generally a good conclusion to Stranger Things, but the slow release pace (5 seasons over the course of 9 years) really harmed the show. The three year gap between the two final seasons made memories foggy, and the "kids" all look way too old for their in-universe ages. The story itself was fine, but it would've had more impact had it been released years ago.
