I first stumbled onto this album (and band) in a used CD/record store (probably Repo Records) in Philly, maybe about two decades ago. That woulda been like a decade after it came out. My mind was completely blown, and I've been listening to it ever since. There's not a single bad track on here, although Mad Hatter's Blues can be a bit grating. All the lyrics have definite queer vibes, if not explicitly so. No idea what they're actually talking about most of the time... You can sure read a lot into it all though. Plaintive and profound.
