War 2 is a surprisingly watchable film, especially if you go in with low to no expectations. The movie's primary focus seems to be on sheer scale, with a relentless emphasis on grand set pieces and expansive action sequences. While this commitment to spectacle is evident, it sometimes comes at the expense of a cohesive screenplay, which feels quite loose and serves mainly as a vehicle for the next big set piece. Hrithik Roshan delivers a stellar performance, as is expected, bringing his usual charisma and commanding screen presence to the role. NTR is also good, though some of his scenes are a bit over-the-top. Unfortunately, the heavy use of CGI plates surrounding him can be an eyesore, distracting from his performance and pulling you out of the moment. Kiara Advani looks amazing in her role, but her character feels under-utilized and seems to be there primarily as eye candy. While I don't see myself re-watching it, War 2 is an unexpectedly decent and surprisingly entertaining watch.
