a review of 奎迪：英雄再起

This movie disappointed me. Not because it was bad but because it could have been so much better. My main issue is just that the arc of him getting over his mental seemed kind of phoned in. I wish they made him grapple with the idea that he might lose the fight again. He needs to be there for his family win or lose - I don’t think it was quite enough to have him fight for his family and that pushing him to the win. I was curious how they were gonna have him lose the fight while also leaving room for a second fight to happen, they solved that problem well. Soundtrack was great and each of his introductions were cinematic as fuck, I did really like the training montage in the desert inspite of its ties to his arc. Overall still a solid movie.
