Interesting sequel to The Woman

This is actually the third movie in a series of Jack Ketchum-penned stories about feral forest-dwelling cannibals, but I haven't managed to see Offspring yet, only The Woman. Like the previous movie, this involves a "wild" woman (now 16-year-old Darlin') coming into contact with civilization and undergoing mistreatment at the hands of patriarchal men--this time primarily a Catholic bishop who tries to control Darlin' in the way her father abused The Woman and his family in the previous movie. This is a more polished and professional movie than its predecessor, but it's also less raw and transgressive. Laryn Canny does a good job in the title role, and Cooper Andrews (you may know him from The Walking Dead; the dude has a great, kind face) plays the one sympathetic male character, a gentle nurse. Worth watching.
