一些#think later的疑问

设定非常宏大。中间悬疑惊悚部分气氛营造的很好,包袱抖得也好。结尾看得我一头雾水。感觉friendly buster show、mercerism和empathy box有更多可以挖掘的东西。

What makes human human? 换言之,what is Human-ness? 10个科幻小说家9个会探讨这个问题。在人失去Empathy/退化,失去感知事物产生感情的能力,生成依赖empathy box来体会别人的感受、靠mood organ和chemical来合成需要的感情的惰性时,人还算人吗?

而人甚至需要stimulant来帮助自己feel basically everything,自己的感情被somehow manipulated的时候,自然人还会像mercerism所说的genuinely caring for animals吗(同时也是这个世界观中普罗大众/官方认可的区分人与仿生人的特点)?但是人们打肿脸充胖子,没有real animals也要有A货electric animals的虚荣心倒是亘古不变,即使产生感受惰性也丢不掉攀比、嫉妒、虚荣。拥有自然动物作宠物已经更像是social norm和阶级地位象征,谁知道其中又有多少真正的empathy呢?

当然,Mercerism也只是人类阵营/教派的一家之词罢了。Friendly Buster Show作为Andys的口舌与Mercer的交锋在我这是仅次于3个Andys和Isidore对手戏的高光。
