Franz Ferdinand与Sparks组成新组合FFS即将于6月8号发行同名专辑FFS，先行单曲Piss Off。 FFS – the unique collaboration between Franz Ferdinand and Sparks - have announced details of the release of their self-titled album on Monday June 8th 2015 on Domino. The first single will be released in April – details to follow shortly. In the meantime FFS are slaking fans’ thirst by previewing the album’s closing track ‘Piss Off’, fittingly the first song written for the album and the first song now to be heard in its entirety.

Since 2009's I Feel Cream, Peaches has been expanding her artistic horizons, appearing in productions including Peaches Christ Superstar, her one-woman take on Jesus Christ Superstar, and Peaches Does Herself, a futuristic rock opera about her rise to fame. Now, she's announced a new album, Rub, recorded last year in L.A. with Vice Cooler. It's out September 25 on I U She Music via INgrooves, and there's a North American tour to support it. Check the dates and album tracklist below, along with Peaches' self-directed video for "Light in Places", which features UK performance artist/aerialist Empress Stah and her pioneering "laser butt plug" show. Guests on the LP include Peaches' longtime collaborator Feist, who sings on "I Mean Something", and Kim Gordon, who speak-sings a hook on "Close Up", as Gordon revealed on Marc Maron's podcast earlier this year.

at the beginning of 2014, liverpool’s outfit found themselves scattered across two countries and three cities, separated by life and love from each other and from those closest to them. slowness, the band’s second full length lp due june 15 on new label home memphis industries, is the sound of its five members snatching intensive weeks to plant themselves in one place, with the tensions of touring, moving, and transatlantic relationships still weighing heavy in mind, to create an album with bold presence. slowness paints a portrait of distance using haunting piano, piercing synthesizers and guitars, all underpinned by outfit’s trademark rhythm section. it dwells on physical distance between lovers, the emotional distance when we return, and the ways in which we imagine each other thousands of miles apart. over the stuttering synths of opener “new air”, the duelling lyrics of vocalist andrew pm hunt and keyboardist thomas gorton are rooted in optimism and beckon an unseen presence to join them in a new life, whilst closer ‘swam out’ sees the band go from beaten and worn down to joyfully triumphant over the course of a song decorated with decaying skype noises and 1am phone calls. the album’s contrasting textures and timbres recall late period talk talk and other more expansive new wave outsiders, but there is a deep sense of modern life to slowness. following up their critically acclaimed debut “performance”, outfit toured with everything everything, played the 6 music festival, festival no. 6, end of the road and pitchfork paris as well as several sold out london headline dates showing that the band could thrive as much in the live arena as they could in their home studio space- a brutalist block of flats in liverpool. slowness is outfit’s most cohesive work to date, a marked progression both sonically and emotionally, capturing the harrowing shock of being in love and apart, and the stillness of staring into screens. ultimately, though, slowness sounds like a band coming to terms with themselves as artists and people to create an album that celebrates life’s obstacles: a record made between new york, london and liverpool — a piece of work compelled by distance.

The Agent Intellect is the third studio album by Detroit post-punk band Protomartyr, released on 9 October 2015. The first single from the album, "Why Does It Shake" was released on 14 July 2015, along with the formal announcement of the album's title, release date, cover art and track listing. On 25 August the band released the second single for the album, "Dope Cloud". on 28 September the band released the third single for the album, "I Forgive You". On September 28, 2015 the album debuted on NPR First Listen. The title of the album is named after an ancient medieval philosophical questioning of how the mind operates in relation to the so-called active intellect, also known as agent intellect and other names.

坂本龍一 復帰第一作は山田洋次監督作品「母と暮せば」の音楽。 小説家・劇作家の井上ひさしが広島を舞台に制作した戯曲「父と暮せば」と対になる作品として実現を願いながらもかなわなかたった物語を、日本映画界を代表する名匠、山田洋次監督が終戦70年、長崎被爆70年となる今年、映画化。 出演:吉永小百合、二宮和也、黒木花ほか。 2014年4月に開催されたオーケストラとのコンサート時に吉永小百合さんと山田洋次監督から直々に音楽制作を打診され快諾。 その後の病を経た坂本龍一の復帰後初となる重要な作品です。
