> The key legal question here is: Does modifying how a website displays through browser-side tools like ad blockers count as breaking the [copyright] law?
This is ridiculous. There are so many ways to display a #webpage. So, would using custom #CSS also violate the #law? Or using a browser like Lynx that just shows the text? Or viewing raw HTML? If anything, it's the raw #code that should be copyrighted. #ad #adblock #legal #internet #netzpolitik #browser #copyright

A bit of a shameless #ad or #plug
I've been running a small hosting business since 2013 now and we have been offering unmanaged virtual private servers (VPS) for probably around the last 10 years or so.
I'm running an offer now where we've got some spare capacity on our infrastructure, they're all KVM servers so they aren't over-sold or over-capacity nodes. Due to the huge price hikes in IPv4 space the main cost for us right now is that IP space so all the offers are for larger VPS's, ideal for folks wanting to setup game servers or run larger sites / services on them (Also great for folks that want to run their own Fedi software ;) )
The offer page is here - https://clients.superior-networks.com/order/main/index/2026-special and I'm planning to run the offer either until the end of 2026 now or until we run out of capacity on the current infrastructure.
Last few days to check out these story photos and read about how I got covered in non-human bodily fluids

Even though these boards were sponsored by JLCPCB, I still wanted to save some money, so I opted to handle the through-hole components myself. I also deliberately ordered a few unpopulated PCBs to use as assembly jigs.

Port: 30000
