Recently, I spent a lot of time reading & writing about LLM benchmark construct validity for a forthcoming article. I also interviewed LLM researchers in academia & industry. The piece is more descriptive than interpretive, but if I’d had the freedom to take it where I wanted it to go, I would’ve addressed the possibility that mental capabilities (like those that benchmarks test for) are never completely innate; they’re always a function of the tests we use to measure them ...

Anthropic describes this constitution as being written for Claude. Described as being "optimized for precision over accessibility." However, on a major philosophical claim it is clear that there is a great deal of ambiguity on how to even evaluate this. Eminent philosophers is an appeal to authority. If they are named, then it is possible to evaluate their claims in context. This is neither precise nor accessible.

Gave AI agentic vibe coding a shot and it didn't go well. 😞 (I'll reframe from saying which platform.)
I asked it to make me a perfect Kombucha-like beverage. The vibe agent said no problem! It just required full control of my PC, my bio-chem assembler and bank account (with sum limits).
Cool beans I thought! I LOVE me a good Kombucha, and gave it full access. I went out to buy some paper towels and came back to this!

其实这个东西不是最新的想法，记得有相机厂商为了防止篡改就有类似的技术。
一个相机卖 399 刀，着实不便宜，HN 评论区对玩意儿也不太看好的感觉。
