The photo shows the lower part of a huge skyscraper with countless windows, most of which have small metal boxes for air conditioning. In front of it is a red double-decker bus with advertising (for Toshiba) and next to it a train. The wooded mountain behind the building marks a straight green line in the photo, which makes the photo special. Both fill the entire picture. On the left is the ugly gray concrete wall with countless tiny windows that form a straight cut to the impressive green of the trees on the right. The train forms a straight bottom line and the red bus stands exactly between the building and the mountain. A photo with several levels and a great view of the photographer.

The Yick Fat Building, also known as the Monster Building, was built in the 1960s. It consists of several five buildings that merge into a huge architectural complex and are all connected by a very narrow inner courtyard. It is therefore one of Hong Kong's most famous photo motifs on Instagram. Visitors call it the "Monster Building" because the buildings resemble a Transformers-like monster. It consists of 2,243 units that are 18 storeys high. Currently, 10,000 people live in the complex.
