my supervisor is an extrovert, whereas I’m an introvert. She feels insulted if I don’t share my personal life with her and ridicules me before other coworkers because I separate private and work life and prefer to keep to myself.

I wrote mobbing because that’s what it feels to me: a ritual of hers is to always eat together, a time she uses to ask me questions I don’t want to answer. I usually answer very vaguely, which is not enough for her. If I eat alone, she’ll complaint about why am I being so unfriendly.

She doesn’t understand I need time alone to unwind.

She is convinced she is doing me a favor, but the opposite is true. It makes me dislike her even more.

I simply cannot win. It’s tiring being blamed and shamed for preferring to read a book instead of talking about dogs or sex.

It makes me want to quit.

I don’t know if I go to HR with an issue like this, because they may label me the odd one, the one who’s not a teamplayer and use it against me.

Most people are extroverted and react angrily to somebody who keeps to himself and I’ve been bullied several times for this. Extroverts don’t seem to understand that not showing interest in their sexual lives doesn’t mean disrespect, but simply that I don’t care about it.

I’m fiddling with a card game concept, and a very important part of it is creatures interacting with other specific kinds of creatures. This necessarily means I need to come up with lots of type names that are descriptive but vague enough to shove literally anything in them. Here’s some good examples: “bug” containing ants, shrimps, pillbugs, bees, and literally anything that could be called a creepy crawly; “fish” containing everything from salmon to sharks to eels to octopi; “trees” containing all the stuff you are thinking of as well as those precambrian 6-foot fungi pillars; and “cats” including housecats, big cats, cheetah, and carcals.

And that’s everything I can think of that would be useful. You see my problem? I know there are other casual-usage words for big categories of critters, but my grasp of the Enlgish language is fickle and leaves me whenever it is most inconvenient. If there is a list I could work from, that would be very helpful. Otherwise, volunteer as many words as you think would be useful.

Overmorrow refers to the day after tomorrow and I feel like it comes in quite handy for example.

My thoughts is that it’s a simple situation really. If they’re harassing or assaulting people, the women will call the cops or something, simple situation and get the guy arrested. If he’s not doing anything, it’s nothing harmful. Apparently that’s not a solid enough answer. What should I have said?

For example, I’m incredibly confused about how you’re supposedly to measure liquid laundry detergent with the cap. At least the kind that I have sits on it’s side, so if you measure it with the cap it just leaks everywhere and makes a mess.

Or at my parents house they have a bag of captain crunch berries that has a new design, where instead of zipping along the top of the bag like normal, it has a zipper in the front slightly beneath the top. That way when you poor it you can’t see what you’re doing cuz the bag is in the way. Like what the heck who’s idea was that?

Hello!I use 2 Lemmy accounts. The first one for everyday use, the second one for specific, more anonymous use. They both are on the same instance and follow the same community’s. But when I look at the same community, with both accounts, I see not especially different posts, but on one account the oldest Post is 7 months old, and with the second account I see every recent post.

It’s like im shadow banned or something. Yes im 100% sure its the same community. Even if i go on the profile of the second account I can’t see any post this account made… Im confused…

Edit: If I look up my main account with the second, I just see 2 posts out of my 25.

I never understood any of it.

I always considered myself bi and not caring about the gender of the person. But there’s a problem I noticed. Women just don’t attract me.

Men, yeah, for sure. I like almost everything about them, except for how confusing they can be at times. It feels natural to me, like I just like men. I don’t think too much about my attraction towards men due to it feeling natural. It’s also “standard”. I won’t be judged for liking men.

Women, not so much. They’re pretty, but I don’t find them attractive. I’d date one and don’t care about the gender if I meet the right one, but none of them have been the right one.

I don’t like women. I don’t find women interesting sexually or romantically, just as friends. Not only does it not feel natural, but it also doesn’t sit quite right with me. I’ve tried everything. Seeing women in a romantic & sexual light. Watching and reading romance/sexy books about women. Only men do it for me, so I don’t look at romantic content with just women/focusing on women.

Even if it’s hetero romance or sex, I would ignore the woman completely and be interested in just the hot guy. Women are flat-out uninteresting. A man also has to be the main character if I watch or read the story.

All of this seems to go against the definition of both bisexuality and biromanticism and more under the hetero umbrella, like Kinsey 1 maybe. In fact, this is probably why I don’t understand being sapphic nor have many lesbian friends, as I want straight or bi women to talk about guys with, not a lesbian who doesn’t know anything about that.
