Long Wharf has been the heart of Boston's waterfront for more than 300 years. In March the city released early proposals to guard the wharf from climate change,

The planning offers two themes, Acupuncture (aka "Sieve") and Big Splash (aka "Big Fill"), each addressing the flood risks of 2030 and 2070. Cost estimates range up to $203 million.
