#WritersCoffeeClub How’s your writing progress so far this year?
Working on the 11th novel of the series, Silhouette of Ravens, which has taken some turns I did not expect, but interesting ones. I have not been as productive in writing this past month, a bit more focussed on visuals. I have some illustration and artwork to do, and that always gives me a clearer view of the story in the end. Like this new cover design for 11.
Meine Version einer Baby Chimäre ist endlich fertig. Und hier seht ihr nun das Ergebnis. Ich hatte sehr viel Freude beim Zeichnen. Es wird sicher nicht das letzte mythische Wesen sein, dass ich gezeichnet habe. Ich hab da noch ein paar Ideen im Kopf…
I call this piece 'Sunshine'. It whispers of delicately savouring the sensation of basking in warm, golden sunbeams, before releasing them to glow and radiate from oneself. Think of the sweet sigh you exude after holding your breath in quiet anticipation. An abrupt and profound eureka, a coruscation that pierces through the looming shadows of oblivion. The melting of that chill in your bones.
