"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend." ~ Melody Beattie

For today's #ThankYouTuesday, I want to express my gratitude to someone I will refer to only by his first name, Gabriele. Many years ago, I was stuck in a job where I was exploited by my employer—the only one I had ever had. Gabriele, who attended one of my Linux courses about 20 years ago, saw my potential and offered me life-changing advice: 'You have a passion for what you do. Don't waste your time on someone who uses it only for their own profit. Start your own business, I'll help by introducing you to some of my clients, and we can offer the Open Source solutions that excite you so much. You're young enough to try.' I took the leap. It wasn't easy, but ultimately, I succeeded in doing the work I love and choosing the technical solutions I prefer. I'm not a great salesman and often charge too little, feeling almost guilty for asking people to pay for something I enjoy so much. But tonight, I want to say thank you to Gabriele. He might not read this, but my gratitude remains.
This place isn't perfect. It has its problems, flaws, and limitations. It's not immune to hatred or those who spread negativity.
Yet, here I've encountered incredible people, a marvelous community committed to bringing constructive engagement, dialogue, and social interaction back to the network.
Thank you, Fediverse.
Thank you, friends of the Fediverse.

For today's #ThankYouTuesday, I want to thank @gyptazy
His BSD Pub is a weekly event of great interest to me, managed with precision and a will to create a true and solid community, in the pure spirit of the BSD Cafe idea.
Additionally, yesterday he helped me with some insights regarding the latest article on my blog, preventing potential questions that might have arisen.
So, thank you for everything!

I want to launch a hashtag where, every Tuesday, I'll post a message and it would be great if it became a habit for many.
In a world full of conflicts, selfishness, and egocentrism, it would be nice to focus on the good that others do, what makes our lives better thanks to the contribution of others.
My first #ThankYouTuesday to the friends of #BSDCafe - both within the community servers and beyond - who have undoubtedly contributed to making my life better, more stimulating, and richer. So, I extend this gratitude to all those who, here in the fediverse or elsewhere, are present and positive, giving me inspiration and motivation.
Truly, thank you!

For today's #ThankYouTuesday, I want to express my gratitude to the entire open-source community. Past, present, and future. I owe so much to what many developers, sysadmins, enthusiasts have built and maintained. I've always believed that culture should be free and accessible to all, and the OSS community has made it possible to study, learn, and implement complex and professional solutions without the need for closed systems, licenses, or expensive "certification" courses.
To the Open Source community, heartfelt thanks!

As someone who is totally blind, the Fediverse is the only place where I have ever been able to follow people such as photographers, artists, or even those who post pictures of their cats or the food they ate. The reason is that most of them use alt text. They take the time to describe the images that my screen reader can't recognise. Some write the descriptions themselves, and others use tools such as altbot. Some worry that their descriptions aren't good enough, especially when they are new at this. Let me assure you, not only are they good enough, they are extremely appreciated! If the rest of the world thought as you did, it would be a much better place. Don't hesitate to ask if you're unsure of something, but never think that we don't notice your effort.

I love this song. As a song, it holds me in a trace. As nostalgia it recalls such a terribly bittersweet age and time. Without a doubt the worst days of my life which held some of the hardest truth I have experienced. But I survived and I transformed in that survival. It took me to a place in life I didn't know existed but I was starving for.
Helping others is the highest calling. If you can, help another person. It is the best thing you can do for yourself.
