I hereby pledge to do a much better job of boosting posts from the #Mastodon instance I own, Podvibes.co.
It’s a small server—which is fine by me and my pocketbook—ostensibly for #AudioFiction creators, though anyone can join* and post whatever they want**.
Right now, it’s dominated by me (duh) and two audio fiction directories, and my posts are about many different things.
So I figure boosting more from my personal account will help others, yeah? Yeah.

Spent some time this morning getting a cursory understanding of #ATProtocol (the open protocol behind #BlueSky). I have a decent understanding of #ActivityPub and I expected AT to have a lot of similarities.
It’s quite different, and this diagram surprised me.
PDS here is “Personal Data Server”. You might think of it as something like a #Mastodon instance where all your data is stored and posts by those you follow are cached.
Except notice that there’s no arrows between PDSes.

Je trouve dommage que la plupart des interfaces "sombres" soient remplies de BLEU 🔵 .
Je préfère les rouges 🔴 ou les bruns 🟤 , c'est plus reposant pour les yeux (sutout le soir).
Dommage que pratiquement aucun thème ne propose ça.
Note: Et c'est la même chose sous Android avec l'appli Tusky. Du bleu du bleu du bleu.

I think it's going to be more important than ever that #Mastodon and the #fediverse are not centrally operated out of the US unlike almost every other social media platform out there.
