It's been a while since I've added a bunch of songs to my Upbeat playlist and it's time to fix that.
What song (NOT album) makes you happy? Is a positive tune you put on to feel good?
I'll queue it to test drive for addition to this playlist: https://music.apple.com/us/playlist/upbeat/pl.u-LdbqqJ4IxBMmx5

Slick move by band #KingGizzardAndTheLizardWizard: After they left #Spotify in July they changed all prices of their 27 albums on #Bandcamp to "pay what you want": https://kinggizzard.bandcamp.com/ 💪
#RollingStone coverage: https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/king-gizzard-and-the-lizard-wizard-bandcamp-name-your-price-1235424321/
In general #KGATLW takes a super liberal approach towards the distribution of their music: They embrace bootlegs by fans: https://kinggizzardandthelizardwizard.com/bootlegger
There are dedicated bootleg channels on music platforms and there even is an app in #FDroid called #GizzTapes where you find a ton of concert recordings: https://f-droid.org/en/packages/gizz.tapes.foss/

Hey, do you like to infodump about music or have some favourite music tidbits in your back pocket? I'm going to be doing a series on the 1001 Other Albums blog tentatively called "Four Facts Fall" where in each post 3 said facts will focus on the album being spotlit but 1 will be a random music fact that I'll try somehow to make relevant, sorta like Airplane Facts with Max.
If you want to share a fact you love about music - music theory, history of an instrument/genre, how it impacts psychology, whatever - let me know!
