Occasionally, I reassess my native Linux Synth/sampler plugins collection & try to come up with a favorite top 10. While I have plenty more, if forced to choose 10 today it would be:
* Repro
* Hive 2
* Chipsynth OPS7
* Quanta 2
* Sforzando
* Decent Sampler
* Linux Sampler
* Zebra 3
* Apisonic Audio's Speedrum 2
* Shortcircuit-XT
I can make any sound with these.

Hooray, we're back with season 4 of The In-Tray!
A little later than expected, sorry about that, but more than willing to make up for it with two whole hours of quality recent releases from the most excellent musical fringes of the entire globe, or as much of it as we can find and cram into a show, anyway.

🇬🇧 Fad Gadget "Collapsing New People" – 1983
Inspired by a visit to Berlin, Frank Tovey combined stark electronic arrangements, mechanical rhythms, and unsettling atmospheres into a song that perfectly reflected the divided city's industrial landscape and emotional tension.
Produced by Gareth Jones and Daniel Miller. Einstürzende Neubauten are guest musicians. 😮

my two #bandcampFriday recommendations:
- dead pioneers: fierce, indignant, indigenous, political punk from denver
https://deadpioneers.bandcamp.com/album/po-t-american
- the dissidents: more punk with compassion, the dissidents have produced several comps for gaza
