NGOZI FAMILY FEATURING CHRISSY ZEBBY TEMBO
Gate Crash '78
2026 U.S. RSD pressing
A little ZAMROCK on a Sunday morning never hurt anybody.
My local shop had one of these left over from Record Store Day, and I was more than happy to pick it up.
For the longest time, this only existed as a test pressing, and was never released.
It’s remastered from that original test source VERY well.
Relentlessly driving guitars with tight Afro-rock grooves, it’s a perfect reflection of that late-period Zamrock vibe.
Now I just need to find a copy of Chrissy Zebby Tembo’s MY ANCESTORS, which if you haven’t heard, is incredible.
It’s been reissued a few times, but originals are BEYOND expensive and impossible to find.
THIS was a great get, though.

Viennese trip hop for the soul
7Y by A_Phan & FRNRKE is one of my favorite Bandcamp finds in recent months. If you’re a fan of trip hop acts like Massive Attack, Tricky, and Portishead, do yourself a favor and give this record a listen 🎶
As AI enters the operating room, reports arise of botched surgeries and misidentified body parts
From https://www.reuters.com/investigations/ai-enters-operating-room-reports-arise-botched-surgeries-misidentified-body-2026-02-09/
I read this and the first thing that came to mind was Kool Keith/Dr. Octagon saying "f@?k it he's dead / oh sh!t there's a horse in the hospital!" on General Hospital.

Listening to Inside of Every Demon Is a Rainbow (From "Hazbin Hotel") - Single by Elsie Lovelock
Rated Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme 6/10
Easily a contender for the worst album cover of all time, but it does have a song called The Big Bright Green Pleasure Machine, which sounds like it should be a Primus song. It does not, however, sound like a Primus song.Vinylhttps://songport.link/t/simon-garfunkel-parsley-sage-rosemary-and-thyme-d4lh4yej
