Rated Highway 61 Revisited 9/10

Back when I was in my late teens I went out with a girl who loved Dylan and the Doors (and U2 but nobody's perfect) and I spent ages trying to get her into bands like Coal Chamber and Spineshank. I think about that quite a lot. Best Songs: Like a Rolling Stone, Queen Jane Approximately, Desolation Row.(Vinyl)https://songport.link/t/bob-dylan-highway-61-revisited-04duxha5

Rated Pet Sounds 10/10

As I go through my physical media in chronological order I'm realising that when it comes to pre-90s music, I really am a basic bitch. 'Oooh, you have Pet Sounds by the Beach Boys? Wow I bet you've got fascinating taste.'I mean, it's a fucking flawless album, what do you want?Best songs: I mean, you know the best songs. Many, many people listening to the Rocky Horror Picture show soundtrack, as they should.

Time Square, I'm told, is not a good movie. However, the soundtrack is an incredible time capsule of that period. And features Tim Curry's "night DJ", Johnny LaGuardia - a role in which he filmed all his scenes in two days. #music #physicalMedia #vinyl
