finished reading The Shellcoder's Handbook: Discovering and Exploiting Security Holes 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗
This was THE book for me when I was first learning exploit development and offensive practices. This book got me through the first half of the IO game on SmashTheStack back in the day.
stopped reading Stranger Things and Dungeons & Dragons
finished reading Freedom™ 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
I keep coming back to this book series almost annually. The first book is an incredible technological thriller and murder mystery. One that left me wanting for more at every page turn. The second book, was a drastic shift that at the time was more difficult to process. But that tonal shift has grown on me as the world around us changes too.
The only question is, would I evoke the daemon? Absolutely. Without any hesitation.
finished reading Hacking: The Art of Exploitation 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗
The companion to Shell Coder's Handbook. This book was pivotal in learning format string overflows. Those things were such a pain in the ass and only this book seemed to explain it in a way that made sense to me!
finished reading The Indispensable Calvin and Hobbes: A Calvin and Hobbes Treasury 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
5/5. I'm biased. It's Calvin and Hobbes. All hail.
finished playing Team Fortress Classic 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌕
Team Fortress. I've been playing this since the QuakeWorld.exe client days. I can't even quote half the phrases we used to yell out while playing this game. But, Medic + Filth Board as my life!
finished playing Marathon 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗
OG Marathon was one of the first great games I ever played, and didn't even know it yet. Bungie at its earliest! This thing was a head of its time on macOS and one of the few in this genre.
