résumé
The story chronicles Qin's unification of China through the construction of the Zhengguo Canal, tracing the fractured bond between childhood friends Emperor Ying Zheng and Chancellor Changping Jun—whose ideological and ancestral divides ignite a fatal clash between Qin and Chu—while Zheng, the commoner engineer, embodies the people's wisdom that truly shapes history.
