The Giffords have been back in England for three months and find themselves landed with Pete's mother Audrey,whose arthritis keeps her - and them awake at night. Jo has the solution - marijuana,which she obtains from a dealer before Audrey moves into new accommodation. Karen and David start their divorce proceedings with David's solicitor Robyn Duff suggesting that David use Karen's past alcoholism as a lever to get custody of the children. Adam feels side-lined by baby Matthew as Rachel is obsessively clinging to him and he walks out of Matthew's naming ceremony.
