This is remarkable!!作为《欧卡》玩家，大幅的路边风景正对胃口。白天在路上，晚上篝火谈话，美国农民、小镇，嬉皮公社，George的一番“自由”言论（觉着部分暗指communism，整体点题），黑人爵士，到最后的保守派，美国各阶层的风情画。某种“离散化”的溶解剪辑转场手法，似乎是加强了两场之间的联系。the delusional pictures and sound at the cemetary，联想到了伯格曼所谓电影诗hh，最后直面太阳，推向远方。结尾出乎意料.. 想着墓地一场戏之后还怎么拍。霍珀这一部电影足矣。《最后一部电影》和本片的互文也很值得讨论。和阿特尔曼同时代的激进分子！

这部看的时间拖得最长..可能是导演有个放映师的梦吧..在幕布后的杂耍感到了炫技
最后还记得一句话 Yanks are in our subconsciousness(大概是这样)//实际上是yankees have colonized our subconsciousness
另今日于资料馆见到文德斯真人并成功要到签名。老爷爷十分和蔼可亲。对于本片新的理解是.. 其实也没什么可想的，司机在边界上开车本身似乎就是一件放空自我的事，这个过程不像是在创造而是在寻找，寻找一个更加精确的更加具象的自我。罗伯特则是一个过客，他可能理解了这种心境，但是还是选择了离开回到人类世界，留着司机一人去做公路之王。全片看到的小镇影院都是破败的，但是美国符号随处可见。本来应该是欧洲人殖民了美国，现在反向输出。
