唱片的画作依旧来自乐队贝斯手(1334)。在“(((”里东倒的人不知踪影，西歪的兽也正在下沉，“432”留下了干净的线条勾勒出的景观，在幻梦异常之中井然成像。
顺序播放整张唱片，浓浓的混响让这个时空温温柔柔的，歌名与词都给出了一些具象的碎片。不知从何而来的感性;不知从何而来的理性；不非要明白为什么；不须说出个所以然。迷幻否、梦幻否？不幻，只有真实的迷，只有真实的梦。

American Head is the best and most consistent studio album from The Flaming Lips since the release of their most successful brace of albums The Soft Bulletin and Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots. Similar to those albums, the 13 songs on American Head are classically structured and features the same sonic and production qualities. Kacey Musgraves (a fan who covers “Do You Realize” in her live set) is featured on “God And The Policeman”.

Morrison Hotel (sometimes referred to as Hard Rock Cafe from the title of the first side of the LP, whose second side is titled Morrison Hotel) is The Doors' fifth album. It was released in 1970. After their experimental work The Soft Parade was not as well received as anticipated, the group went back to basics and back to their roots. On this album, there is a slight steer toward blues, which would be fully explored by the band on their next album, L.A. Woman. The strategy worked; even though no major hit singles were drawn from the album, Morrison Hotel reestablished The Doors as favorites of the critics, peaking at #4 on the US album chart, and when they followed with L.A. Woman the next year, they were rewarded with two more US Top 20 hits. The album also became the band's highest charting studio album in the UK, where it peaked at #12.

Sketches of Brunswick East is the eleventh studio album by Australian psychedelic rock band King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, and the third by Mild High Club. The album title is a reference to the Melbourne suburb of Brunswick East and Miles Davis' album Sketches of Spain. It was released on 18 August 2017 by Flightless Records in Australia, ATO Records in the United States, and Heavenly Recordings in the United Kingdom. It is the third of five albums set to be released in 2017.
The album is a collaboration with Mild High Club, and is prominently jazz-based.
Background and conception
The album was conceived just after the release of Flying Microtonal Banana and the completion of Murder of the Universe, the band's first and second releases in 2017. At that point, ideas for the next three albums were discussed, with one (presumably Sketches of Brunswick East) said to be in a "state of coming together," while the other two were "sort of distant at the moment."
Stu Mackenzie stated in an interview that the collaboration with Mild High Club came about because Alex Brettin, the sole member of the band, played at King Gizzard's own Gizzfest in December 2016. Afterward, Brettin stayed at Mackenzie's house for a few weeks, during which they came up with ideas that he has since described as "really, really vague." The two recorded a handful of iPhone voice memos to share with each other, which they ended up calling sketches: hence the album title. Mackenzie later stated that the album was recorded in three weeks.
The album's title was leaked in the Heavenly Recordings album biography for Murder of the Universe. The title alludes to Miles Davis' Sketches of Spain as a musical influence.
The track “Rolling Stoned” was first shown in a live performance by the Mild High Club featuring Stu Mackenzie almost two years before this album was even known to exist. The description of the video's upload on YouTube lists it as being from “their upcoming LP”, but was not present on Skiptracing - the version here is similar, almost certainly meaning it is a missing cut from that album.
The album was first played in its entirety on August 18, 2017 on a Facebook live stream. The album was then available for purchase an hour after the start of the stream.
