All the songs here are mighty tuneful, so it is obvious why this ended up becoming one of the most popular of all punk albums at the time, they are downright catchy in a way that probably made early PiL-era John Lydon cringe but made their success inevitable. Some of these songs are just pure shock tunes, reveling in making normies uncomfortable but not really having much artistic merit outside that such as Bodies. It is not by any means one of my favorite UK punk albums, but obviously I think it is quite good regardless of preferring The Clash, The Damned, or the Buzzcocks, most of the songs were saved to my master playlist. It is a little goofy, but without this record none of the incredible UK punk OR post-punk that came after would be possible.
