IDFA DocLab Competition for Immersive Non-Fiction Chilean women in prison have limited communication with their family—no visits, not even a conversation behind glass. Mothers sometimes spend years separated from their children, whom they have had to leave at home. This VR experience is the result of a project that gave a handful of these women the chance at least to have virtual contact with their loved ones. We first see them in their cells and the common areas of the prison where they spend their time. They then put together a virtual museum of objects that connect them with home: a mirror, a rubber duck, a Mother’s Day card from their child. Each object brings to life the story of the people they have left behind. In the emotional conclusion, we see the women put on a VR headset that enables them to briefly stand beside their children in virtual reality. For now, this is as close as they can get. 源自：

Martin (33) goes on vacation to the beach with his girlfriend. Everything seems normal, until his mother arrives. Lightning strikes and there is a car to disappear.

Lucas and Antonio. Two young men meet and fall in love in a remote fishing village in the south of Chile. One lives there, the other is visiting. Sensuality dictates the pace of the narrative and the lives of both in the days to follow: being one another’s mirror. Recognising one another. Yielding to one another. When the village rebels against their love, the experience of this limitation marks a momentous step in Lucas’ and Antonio’s adulthood. A simple story of love and devotion, shot in the style of Direct Cinema. A not-so-simple setting, in Chile’s Deep South, where anything that breaks out of the perceived norm is to be destroyed immediately, punished. The characters know of the limitations within the village. The romantic notion of resistance is brief; of greater importance are life and the love that is found. Going further. Going beyond the self.

Amanda, a complaisant and lonely woman in her mid-four-ties, lives with Daniel, her sixteen-year-old son, in the mountains of southern Chile. Octavio, a friend of Daniel, is accidentally injured while hunting in the forest. Amanda takes over the healing sessions, developing an intimate bond between them. They discover that the contact with the wound produces an addictive pleasure.
