On location in Portugal, a film crew runs out of film while making their own version of Roger Corman's The Day the World Ended (1956). The producer is nowhere to be found and director Munro attempts to find him in hopes of being able to finish the film.

We live in times where Internet and social media rule our lives. Gays have embraced online dating and beyond a casual hook up, for some our online profiles and exposed body feed our narcissistic and exhibitionist side, while for others is an endless voyeuristic hunt. PIX is a series of flickering images (faceless-selfies) of 2500 gay men building a three minutes animation portraying what is happening in the "marketplace of desire". Thousands of male bodies in typical male poses are put together creating the mosaic of one body. A mirror, an exposed torso and the promise for NSA fun have become the synonym to today's gay behavior with dating. But is that the rule or just a temporary -even necessary- phase into a gay man's life? Does this gay on-line behavior help for better communication or does it isolate homosexuals from the "normality" gay men try to achieve all these years? Is the need to connect emotionally been taken over by the need to push on the "load more guys" button? No three-minutes animation can answer these questions for you. Only you can, starting the next time you pose in front of the mirror.

Nude Dudes is about my experience during my visit in Tel Aviv. I was hosted by Matan and Menache, two young guys who practice nudism in their own house. While being flatmates they openly expose their sexual interests to each other and their guests. Managing their online dating profiles is a part of their daily routine. I was intrigued by their non-tabooed dynamic. They brought me to the nudists beach where to my delight I saw a similar openness from the crowd. Away from the open Mediterranean waters, an unforgettable experience was swimming in the Dead Sea with two guys I had met at the festival I was attending at the time. Connection, freedom, sex, elevated senses and feelings, ejaculating life in those dead waters. Its unique composition transported all three of us to another stimulating dimension. After all, no matter the conflicts in the area I felt connected and open for a better well being like the locals do.

This is a voyeuristic hunt during my trip to Rio de Janeiro with lots of sea, sun, sweat and sexual encounters. Brazilian men care about their physique and they freely allow admiration of their sculpted bodies. The sensuality of those men creates blurry sexual identities. An outdoors gym in the Arpoador area unveiled to me the vibrancy of the country and the diversity of men. Just behind the gym there is a gay cruising park. The gym crowd training during the day is very different from the one training at night. The film is a portrait of this shift while adding more Brazilian testosterone to this Summer's football excitement in the country!

This is a statement about the current financial situation in Portugal and the lack of funding to support artistic initiatives. All contributions from this film will be given to the participants of Dancers film, to encourage and inspire them, for them to give you one more private dance! These artists are not afraid to challenge the general thinking about male nudity and they showcase the potential of creative Portuguese performance arts.

This film portrays the journey of a “straight” married man who has the habit of cruising in the park next to his work place during his lunch break. He is a hunter however he is also hunted. This documentary short film was made in collaboration with Miguel Arroja who had been capturing action on camera since 2001. After he saw my work he wanted to share his precious footage with me. I was impressed with the activities at the place. I went there in 2013 to experience it myself and do more filming.
