对比费里尼-天主和老塔-东正的圣愚故事可能颇具启发 前者信仰危机体现为怀疑救赎（《骗子》中感到救赎仍执迷不悟）后者则体现为怀疑奇迹 如此看来区中三人对应三种危机 而非仅是潜行者对二人的引渡——科学家危机在于理性的边界 对逾越界限之物只能选择摧毁（类似瓦雷里笔下海边的苏格拉底）；作家危机在于感性无法对神性做出肯定回应 只能选择享乐延缓存在焦虑；而潜行者危机在于怀疑奇迹 他在区中制定的规则并无所言中的强力 他在房间前的却步是对自身信仰危机的掩饰 拒绝妻子的同行也是如此 他并非真正的圣愚 他在区外同样是暗黄的 而真正的圣愚是女儿 她跛足不语（与《骗子》中圣愚相似）始终在神性世界（色彩）她的诞生才是真正的奇迹 因而尽管通篇是信仰拷问 老塔最终仍给出了较为明确的肯定答案；但着实没有足够触动的时刻

普雷斯伯格台词写得好但情节设置问题不小 有点拉鲍威尔后腿 TheRedShoes芭蕾舞剧桥段的剪辑看傻了 影史顶尖水平 自杀桥段的红舞鞋特写也特别喜欢 下台阶镜头的加速很有动画感 一方面是这时候镜头绝对中心、具有主动性的角色不再是人 另一方面又有一种成年黑童话的感觉 很奇妙 还特别喜欢芭蕾舞桥段里将排舞老师、剧团老板还有作曲家投射到那个好像会黑魔法的鞋店店主身上 把当时还看不太清的人物内在关系提前呈现了出来；红舞鞋也不是说就是代表事业如何如何 在我看来其实是一种意识形态的投射 让你从自己出发去认肯一种植入的价值 最终被这种价值牢牢绑住 于是无论是老板还是男友 即便态度不同也不过是把这双鞋绑得更紧了罢了；片子最大问题是 有冲突张力 但是设定出来的 不是发展出来的

看到克劳德雷恩斯总让我把这部不自觉和史密斯先生到华盛顿联系起来 主角都是接受良好\传统教育的青年 被迫面对惨淡的境遇 在自我怀疑之中 史密斯先生里史密斯先生坚持理想、恶人良心发现 美国梦得以“辩证发展” 而劳伦斯里则是个体英雄式宏大叙事的彻底碎裂（杀人与对自己“正义”的认同破碎->白人体征与阿拉伯身份认同破碎->退而求其次的程序正义\共和理想破碎） 用史诗风格去呈现这种反史诗题材本身算得上挺有趣的 但大卫里恩想说的太多 比如劳伦斯“只能活在沙漠里”这种陈述所暗示的又是故事的另一个维度 交代不清不楚又舍不得割掉就味同嚼蜡；调度水平太高 比黑泽明、约翰福特等人更胜一筹

“穿帮”的环境交代构建起始终摇摆无法自洽的回忆迷宫 不够说实话 之前看过前三十分钟+各种名片段 第一次看全片全无新鲜感 反倒有种看《诗人之血》的疲惫感...（睡过前二十分钟正好和上次接起来..）（女主没有印象中漂亮了）
